PAS leaders promote church seminar to canvass vote in Sibu

Pas leaders, MP for Shah Alam, Khalid Abdul Samad, MP for Kota Raja Dr. Siti Mariah Mahmud, Saravanan Taileran and Aiman Athiran Al Jundi were at the Sibu Sacred Heart church this morning inviting peoplle to attend a church seminar at Paramount hotel tomorrow.

Also joining them later were Teresa Kok, MP for Seputeh and Irene Cheng, Wong Ho Leng’s wife.

Khalid told reporters that Pas is not what was pictured by the Barisan Nasional through the media.

He said Pas is a party that allowed freedom of religion.

He said from what he learned, Pas and DAP were fighting a common stand, that is to ensure that there is freedom of religion in this country.

He said both parties were also concerned about the corruption in the country and wanted to eradicate that besides fighting for justice and helping the poorer group (Baca Lagi)
